Medicare Part A

Medicare Part C (Medicare Advantage)

Medicare Advantage, or Part C, provides all of the benefits included with Parts A and B, in addition to covering prescription medications (generic and name brand).  It has become one of the most popular Medicare options based on its simplicity, rate stability and the convenience of managing Parts A, B and D under one combined plan.

Medicare Part D

Rx Prescription coverage:  Those enrolled in Medicare Parts A and B have the option of adding Medicare Part D to their plan, which covers the cost of prescription drugs.  Part D is available to adults turning 65, as well as individuals with qualifying disabilities, End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), or those receiving Social Security Disability benefits.

Medicare Part F

Medicare Part F helps covers the co-insurance expenses from Part A, as well as hospital expenses for a full calendar year after the enrollee’s Medicare benefits have been exhausted.  Those born after January 1st 1955, or those who started Medicare after January 1st 2020 are not eligible for Medicare Part F supplements.

Medicare Part G

Offered as an option to reduce the expenses associated with original Medicare, adding Part G  to your Medicare coverage can help cover the costs of co-insurance, co-payments and deductibles that aren't covered under Part A and Part B.

Medicare Part K

Part K is a specialized Medicare supplement that pays 100% of Medicare-covered expenses for the remainder of the calendar year, once Part B’s annual deductible and maximum out-of-pocket limit for has been met.

Medicare Part L

Medicare Part L was designed to help cover any healthcare expenses that are not covered with original Medicare.  One of the most unique benefits of Medicare Part F is that enrollees can set a yearly limit on maximum out-of-pocket expenses.    

Medicare Part M

Very similar in nature to Medicare Plan D, this Medicare supplement helps cover the cost of some common out-of-pocket expenses, most notably, medical treatment deductibles, co-payments and co-insurance.

Medicare Part N

Medicare Part N provides all of the same hospital and medical benefits as original Medicare Parts A and B.  Lower monthly premiums and reduced co-payment amounts continue to make this an appealing option to many who are enrolled in Medicare.
